I think the move to Millbank for the overnights, as seen in that video above, was mentioned at the time, but I think what might have been overlooked is the strange use of a pre-2008 BBC News bed for the 'coming up' segment that takes place at the very end of the video - would seem odd to have that kind of stuff in the system at all considering it'll soon be 10 years since the music was in use!

I remember going to ITN's Millbank facility several years ago (during ITV News's 2009-2013 theme music era) and the 2006-2009 music was still loaded and assigned to hot keys on the Instant Replay machine in the control room. I think with Millbank generally being a backup facility for both BBC News and ITN, these sorts of things sometimes get overlooked. That said, you'd be surprised what's still hanging about on the main HQ audio replay systems - I know at ITN, SpotOn still has the ITV News 2004 music on it. It's not assigned to any buttons, but it's still there on the system.

That music is from the 1999 package, isn't it?
Yup thats the 1999 bed, how nice to hear it again, not quite to thumpy as the current one. But it's nice to see how it still works just as well with the current stuff, evolution of the theme rather than revoloution!

When did the BBC change their schedule post business live - GMT ? It appears that the current schedule as of this week is as follows:
08:00 - 08:05 GMT BBC World News
08:05 - 08:30 GMT Pre recorded fare - today it was Jump Starting Japan
08:30 - 09:00 GMT HARDtalk
09:00 - 09:30 GMT BBC World News
09:30 - 10:00 GMT Pre recorded fare - a Horizons special
11:00 - 11:30 GMT BBC World News
11:30 - 11:45 GMT World Business Report

Seems like a few weeks ago that during this time frame HARDtalk was the only recorded episode. Maybe there were others that I missed as I'm not up as late as I have been.

It changed at the European clock change date, which is always the last Sunday in March. As some programmes are aimed at audiences where the clocks don't change, the overall schedule has to move around.
It will change back again on the last Sunday in October.
Of course there are temporary changes during the period between the US and European clock change dates to facilitate World News America staying at the same time in the US.
