Anyone here in the U.S. wish that BBC WN would be available on Sirius XM? They already carry all the U.S. cable channel streams and the World Service so there's no reason for them to not carry WN. Also this would be an additional source of revenue for BBC World Wide because they would get a share of the SXM subscriber base and part of the advertisements that are placed on top of the ads during commercial breaks.
Sirius used to carry BBC Radio 1, the pop music station, on a delay of several hours so that the Breakfast Show (Morning Show in US parlance) went out at 6.30 in New York.
WN just had the same full that the NC seemed to have quite a lot. With the cameras ready for a desk opening, but Geeta was on the catwalk. Good save actually by Geeta.
Quite a nice backdrop of London. Even if it is computer generated.

Maybe the BBC producer that's behind all those mess ups was transferred to WN?

Shame as half an hour before that bulletin it was spot on.
Funny to see how Rico was trying hard to contain his laughter reading about women's armpit hair pride. He had to pause several times mid-sentence. I bet if anyone show any sign of laughter around him, he would've laughed outright. Lebo was very composed though.
That aside, common nits again on Newsday. Lebo wasn't able to finish her sentence on a newspiece as Rico cut in way too early. Then, Lebo's mic was silenced too long in her final line. Or maybe they thought she was gonna laugh too.
Lebo probably read Rico's line, as you heard him say the same thing. I've noticed they do that occasionally especially with presenters not used to the Newsday format (thinks back to Mariko Oi).
Has anyone noticed how tight the set is in Singapore? You can see more here...

OS touchscreen isn't working again! I think the 2nd edition of the programme should broadcast from Studio C
