Hope that Impact will broadcast as normal from Studio B, must be the maintenace preveting GMT to broadcast from there. But i think GMT should broadcast from Studio C.

There's a special edition of Global this afternoon, so GMT and Impact will both be coming from C.

They will be running a 'special live TV debate on Tuesday 2nd June, tackling issues that matter to young people around the globe', broadcast from London.

People involved are Kofi Annan, Jimmy Carter, Mary Robinson, Hina Jilani.

They seem to name this debate as 'The Elders’ Debate' which will be presented by Matthew Amroliwala in place of Global at 1500–1600GMT (1600-1700 UK Time)

Global continues as normal, but shrunk into 30 minute slot

The Elders debate was supposed to air on the NC also at 1630 but that didn't happen because of the breaking news at Alton Towers.

BBC World joins the NC with Clive Myrie from 6:30.

So, no Focus on Africa?

Is this simulcast just straightforward joint coverage of the Blatter story to avoid both outlets chasing the same contributors or is it because of studio issues (either logistical due to the special programme earlier from B or technical issues)?

No Focus on Africa. Outside Source was also simulcast partially, preceding Clive Myrie who's now presenting from E.

Prior to Outside Source, World broke into a recorded programme to bring us the live FIFA Presser. Jamie Robertson brought that Breaking News.
