0700 GMT and they're still at TVC. Are they going to wait until Noon again before making the switchover? Using the GMT programme and Alagiah was a good way to mark the launch the new setup, but it'd be bizarre and lazy of them to repeat it for the next two weeks or however long they're planning on running the channel from two different places for.

8am I believe with Nik Gowing.

Aye, "new look studios at the top of the hour" says Naga.

Oops - Not Nik... he did say yesterday he'd be at NBH when he closed the BBC Two programme.

The opening shot was a bit average, a slow sideways wobble rather than that nice sweeping shot we saw in the promo. I do think this studio works a lot better for regular bulletins, though.
Can't see any difference at all in the titles, which is strange as they seemed to have been altered in the publicity photos.
The slight transparency applied to the L3 graphics is starting to irritate me. Doesn't really add anything just makes the white look grey, and shows the graphics of other broadcasters beneath.

What gets me about this is after all of the promotion about the world's newsroom we are back at TVC for the European Breakfast programme with Naga and Sally. EVEN WORSE: They used the old WBR branding, so its just a huge mish-mash of confused presentation, new live bug with old straps, new look WBR earlier in the day but reverted back in the morning. Sloppy.

I have posted in a few pages back, nothing fancy.
Have we seen the Breaking News strap yet?

To be fair, I think moving a whole TV channel not only to a new set or a new studio but to a whole new building requires a huge effort which is beyond imagination for most of us, I guess. So they might just be in need of a longer period of downtime at NBH between the first days of broadcasting in order to solve some minor problems - and this may be the reason for their use of their "old" home for several hours a day for the time being.
I think the BBC did a superb job yesterday. The studios at NBH went on air without any major technical problems or even breakdowns. And we all know that the current situation is not a permanent one. It will only last for a few weeks (if at all) so I really think that your criticism is quite unjustified.
