With the clocks changing, Outside Source is now once a day, not twice and Impact and Global have been pushed back an hour to allow for the extra edition of GMT so this time there is a complete time change but we wait to see what happens in October. Also, Impact and Global have swapped programmes in the back half-hour.
Buisness Live is a good programme! Interesting idea. Good presenters working together providing good coverage to the start of the European buisness day. It will be interesting to see if they take the World News Today simulcast approach when it starts on the NC and remove the ad break completely.
What would make sense if Buisness Edition is replaced by Outside Source (or a new programme) would be to turn it into a buisness only programme on a similar time slot back half-hour (eg after World News America) with Tayna Beckett/Jamie Roberston in London and Rico Hizon/Sharonjiyt Layl/on duty presenter in Singapore Sunday-Thursday (GMT) and have it as a jointly presented programme like Newsday but for Buisness to give viewers a preview of Asia and a round up from the US in a similar way Buisness Live does in the morning GMT for Europe. I know it makes the turnaround tight in Singapore for Newsday but Newsday has shown that it's possible to have this kind of a programme. Instead of broadcasting from London, another possibility is to have Michelle Fleury presenting from the New York Stock Exchange on a day when the US has traded in order to provide live interviews from the floor. It could be called Bizday to fit with Newsday!
Also great to see WN finally in HD in Europe!
