I suspect the height issue will be a non issue. I don't think I've seen two presenters standing in studio C or E together more likely one at a time.
Is the joint evening programme not Outside Source which will air at 2100 UK time?

I should have known it would have been done sometime. I think it is fair to say that it, currently, isn't a common occurrence.

With the clock changes this weekend, BBC World News switches to the summer schedule, and there appear to be several weekday schedule changes (apart from those necessitated by the clock change) when compared with last year, if the BBC website is to be believed. All times quoted are GMT (London time is GMT +1)
07:30 - 08:00 Business Live (replacing BBC World News and World Business Report)
12:00 - 12:30 GMT (replacing BBC World News)
18:30 - 18:45 World Business Report (replacing World News Today)
18:45 - 19:00 Sport Today (replacing World News Today)
So GMT will now run for 90 minutes, and World News Today will now be two half hour editions at 18:00 and 19:00 GMT.
On Fridays World Have Your Say has been cancelled, and will be replaced by a bulletin of BBC World News, followed by World Business Report and Sport Today.

I just learned that today's edition of Middle East Business Report is to be the last ever.
Sad.
Sad.

When did it begin? Wasn't Ben Thompson the first presenter back in the day?

There will be an edition of World Business Report and Sport Today between GMT and Impact. They don't follow directly like in the winter.
Remember that both Impact and Global stay at the same time (in GMT terms) in the summer.
No it's the bulletin from studio b it would be gmt as normal and then straight to Impact.
