I'm pretty certain Singapore have their own local replay facilities and can work self-contained if they need to, so I would imagine ABR and Sport Today go straight to BBC World News playout at Red Bee.

Cameras not moving in time for Aaron Heselhurst at the catwalk this morning, leaving him facing Naga awkwardly for a while later he said, "It's trying to move. It's trying to move." I thought I saw him wanting to touch the camera and spin it himself.

That's the first time I've heard about a camera problem in C for a long long time.

A minor observation: it looks like they have moved the World Business Report edition during the 0700 GMT hour from 0730 GMT to 0740 GMT. It flows better this way. Before, it would be the news, then WBR and then more news and sports (rather than re-airing the papers review a 2nd time). Now it's news, some sports, WBR.

Just noted that this morning as well. I wonder if it was a one-off because they needed Alice to be seated for her slot for some reason or the other, so needed a gap to allow Geeta to vacate?

But I do agree with you, it flows better this way.

Edit: even the "in-bulletin" business slot is with Alice seated at the desk alongside Geeta. Wonder if they're trying things out, or if the catwalk in Studio C is out of action today for some reason. Or Camera 5 is screwed up again.

Confirmed: the robotic cameras used for the catwalk have failed. So, it's all pres from the desk today, until cameras repaired. Aaron Heslehurst also seated today.

Nice new trailer for Newsday. Featuring a montage of all 4 main presenters speaking about the programme.

Year-end normal bulletins all-around has come again. No more Newsday and ABR until next year. Also. all branded segments going on hiatus.

By the way, does anyone know how the coverage of the Sydney hostage crisis was on BBCWorld a week or two ago? I was away on travel and only got CNN on the telly. During the critical stages of the crisis, CNN did simulcast with Australia's 7 News, I wonder if BBC did the same.

In the early stages of the siege BBC took much of the 7 News pictures, but with their own VO. I think later on they seemed to have a clean feed without the 7 graphics, although I could be mistaken.
