Interesting start to Newsday, although I have to say I like the two presenters shown on screens side by side rather than an being on an on screen graphic side by side.

Err - The 2010 General Election came from TC1. Opened in 1964... Not specially built. The set was built for the programme. But then most sets are!

Night London skyline behind Kasia, I dont think she's at TVC.

EDIT: She is at NBH, studio C so TVC and N8 are history indeed.

I'm guessing he'd have been watching the studio feeds being sent to the Broadcast Centre for Playout. I've had a few peeks at those, but mostly been catching bits and pieces of the channel output on the ring main.

In between doing actual work, of course. Very Happy

ETA: But with the "globe" from the new titles on it's lower thirds, which don't line up with the DOG.

How is the 0100 GMT lower third output going to work? will the graphics all of a sudden revert to old style to fit the news channel? will the news channel get a DOG less output that they just put their ticker under?

Guess we find out in just under 90mins

ABR is a mess. The strap still clashes with logo box and animates in a different way. No comment on the space & desk they use. Time for London to finally give them some money for a decent set.
