No Red Bee didn't exist then per sé but their predecessors BBC Presentation ran the transmission of the channel back then and all their copies of this stuff was 14:9. I don't think the news titles was one of the things held however (though it may have been on some seldom used tape buried within the Odetics). World Pres at TVC transmitted variously from BetaSp, Laserdisc and, latterly, Profile servers.

Does anyone know when did "with Yalda Hakim" got appended to Impact? I've not been keenly following Impact for a while. A quick check on Wikipedia's Impact article sees it mentioning the new label, so I guess it must have been implemented for a while.

Very nice to see those titles and stings in clean it's just so good, it hasn't been the same since really, although I wonder why it's in 14:9 when it will have been played out widescreen internally.

They could have been ARCed to 14:9 on playout if the destination for them was 4:3 (and hence 14:9 letterbox used)?

Yalda hasn't presented it very much at all yet - I don't think the "official" takeover has actually taken place yet. I've not seen any such label yet.

I think (like someone updating all of the new correspondent postings immediately after the announcement), people on Wikipedia were a bit ahead of themselves.

It's already been in use.

I see Yalda has been presenting very regularly nowadays, with the exception of her occasional field trips. It looks pretty official to me that she's the primary host for it. Lucy Hockings usually takes Fridays and when Yalda's off, even then I've seen quite a lot of Karin comapred with Lucy. On odd weeks when Yalda's away on trip, we could also see Geeta, Babita, or Rajesh.

I stand corrected!

Once the label is there she's now "official"!

Looks like the UK forgot to opt out there, unless this is new to over nights?

It's the other way round isn't it, Red Bee opt World out while the studio does UK specific stuff.

I think you're right, but it has happened before and each hour last night that was shown.

I have been quite bothered by the number of English or typo errors on the BBC website over time. It always comes up so regularly and it has somewhat made BBC look rather unprofessional in my opinion. Could it be that the news articles did not go through second reading or checks, and they were just typed in haste?

Just today, I noted two instances in two separate articles.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-28174736
"Witnesses have been told to deliver statements before the Lahore High Court court on Monday."

http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-28193654
"Airline staff with carry out checks on the devices at boarding gates."
