Just to note that studio C looked equally great in all blue lighting on Biz Edition. Also great details on that London skyline, there's a plane or something flying in the distance.

So the thing flying into Tanya's ear wasn't in my imagination...

I've been quite impressed with Studio C this evening, dispite a few camera wobbles during World News Today. Those projection screens are extraordinarily crisp, cant wait to see the daytime skyline as well.

Did someone also say World News America was getting new titles?

I haven't been following this and I rarely watch the channel but all the programme titles seen here are brilliant, the countdown is truly excellent and for the teams to ask the World Service reporters what reaction is/explain what general mindset would be is a masterstroke.

As for the lower thirds, they're essentially the same layout except they've got thinner. I'd only change the ticker colours and fix the DOG spacing issue.

More videos of the titles please and can someone please upload the NBH tour that all the presenters are alluring too.

if it's flying it's probably a plane, or a bird, or possibly Alan Jentob.

Love the new orchestra countdown, itīs totally different from the former one.

Now a full 40 seconds countdown. To me the theme sounds too similar compared with the old one.

Well I am just writing what you like to hear.

Almost full countdown now, 53 seconds, violins really bring sonething new to it. WNA titles are very US now, with stars, stripes and Obama image in the end. Lets just say their Republican viewers will not like it. Very Happy

World News America has gone all Stars and Stripes. Barack Obama features in the titles, along with lots of blue, orange, red and white now. Logo on endboard is a lot smaller too. Washington studio looks old in comparison to new London studios. God help the Singapore studio during Newsday.

Yes, was just about to say, ginnyfan, not very partisan!

In case you all missed this earlier.
Here's one of the new countdowns in full. You can hear the orchestra in it much clearly. Enjoy.

Purely on glancing at the stream and the videos put up here today, it seems like a really changed channel, with a new element of confidence brought about by the flash high technology around them.

I also think the lower thirds are quite good, nothing design spectacular, but well thought out in a minimalist style, although they might do with be slightly less vertically-cramped.

I can't believe ... something bland.

Gosh, I am simply astounded at Brekkie's unforeseen and original opinion. Really, I just *never* saw that coming.

You've moved up a level. Only another 12 to go and you'll be in the secret forum.

I love the new look. As others have said, it's like a completely different channel.

BBC World News has never really been able to punch the full weight of the BBC News machine. I'm really interested to see how the channel develops now it has a fitting set of studios and the full resources of BBC News at its disposal

I believe an insider said the next General Election will not come from NBH.

I suspect that that rather depends on when the next General Election happens. If the coalition manage to hang on for the whole term then TC1 will be back in use. If the coalition were to collapse in 12 months' time that won't be an option
