Looks like the World News Today template, even 'WASHINGTON' on the globe loop being in shot at the TOTH.
World News seem to have started stood up TOTHs again. Some rather snazzy camera moves used for the 2am UK and World simulcast.

Is this move a different one from previous stood-up overnights? Previously I did thought in the beginning that this was going to be a new method of starting the 2am slot, but as I observed more of it over time I found it isn't the case. Usually the stood-up starts is only initiated if the presenter needs to point to statistics/data on the catwalk display panel, right after the opening sting. The same applies for the 8am slot as well. So when there's no need to showcase statistics or some other data presentation, then I think it's safe to say it will be a seated opening.

Technical breakdown today on 8am slot. Teleprompters and video play system stuck upon Sally's finishing of brief biz updates on Geeta's slot. Can't show the market figures, and she has to finish Geeta's final few paragraphs on the catwalk with no video to follow, until weather cuts in, for now.
30 minutes past the hour, a weekend documentary snippet plays in place of usual bottom of hour summary.
35 minutes past the hour, bottom of the hour summary is back, but with Daniela Ritorto instead of Geeta. This followed by Sally's WBR. A "Recorded" banner is placed on top during WBR. Interview with a remote guest also suffered issues and had to be stopped.

BBC World News, BBC TWO programme appears to be using Newsnight Graphics or none at all. Not sure if this is related to earlier technical issues.

I wonder whether they tried to be clever, using the same kind of trick that allows Studio A to do different things at 8pm on BBC1 network/HD and BBC London?
BBC2 joined part way through the press conference, could they have split the output so that only domestic viewers heard Geeta's (out of vision) introduction, so rather than BBC2 picking up World output they had a separate feed out of Studio C but somebody accidentally used a Viz engine configured for Newsnight's style?
