I find it a little odd that oftentimes when I watch Newsday, the London presenter is trying to crack a joke with the Singapore presenter at the end of the program, and the Singapore presenter doesn't quite get it. Or maybe there's a delay with the 2 screen thing, so ends up with the Singapore presenter keeping quiet and not responding the joke or smiling awkwardly until the camera pans off. Sometimes the London presenter has to chip in a few extra words just to sooth the awkwardness when the Singapore presenter doesn't respond to her. Not presenter exclusive though as I have seen that with Babita & Rico, as well as Kasia & Sheranjit. And I'm seeing it again today.

Indeed, however I don't spot it regularly.
An example though here at the end of this clip from Kasia last year http://youtu.be/fvue1wK0w1w

Might have overstated on often, but have seen it every now and then.

Think it's literally a delay thing. I seem to recall someone saying that in the scripted two-presenter parts the second presenter has to start reading when they can still hear the other presenter talking in order to make it broadcast in sync. Naturally this doesn't work with unscripted 'banter'.

That's just the delay, nothing more.

New style opening for the BBC World News. I like it, but they should move the camera quicker. I like how how they try things new.

Nick did not look impressed. This was the BBC Two similcast as well so everyone at home saw that too.

If this fault was on Friday, the program wasn’t shown on BBC Two because of the Athletics: World Championships airing from 9-122 with Daily Politics following.
