You don't get "touchscreens" that big. You get a normal screen, then add a touch system to it. You don't need to have bought them at the same time either, so they could easily have just added such a system to the existing screen.

Was it actually bought new for NBH or is it the one that was previously in N9?

Doubt it, the one in N9 does look different IMO to the one that is used for OS/weather - considering the video below is from late 2009

It will have been specially bought, as several of the same screen are used in the different studios at NBH, I seem to recall - the three screens in E are the same type (obviously without the addition of touch capabilities).

Focus on Africa was 17.30 - 18.00. I think it was just a normal World bulletin.
