They're currently doing a down the line interview from the Newsroom, which was previously named as Central London.

Could they have remained in Studio B until then because when the NC moves to NBH, they will be in Studio C for the 5pm hour? Therefore, World News can't return to Studio C at 5pm GMT.

Studio C being used for World News Today. Marks the first point UK viewers can see the new look BBC World News on UK television.

I can't believe the praise here for very minor changes which barely tweak an already dated package. The graphics look as awful as they've always done while the new studios don't feel new at all as the BBC have done everything possible to remain in their little BBC News timewarp. Lambie-Nairn have shown with ITV News today how familiar can easily be reinvented into something new - but with BBC News it's just remoulded into something bland.

Studio C looks very nice on air - such a vast improvement on tired old N8.

The projected screen looks very bright and sharp, as well as the London skyline backdrop which is a warm dark blue at this time of day. Studio C has a cosier, smaller feel that Studio B lacks but that N8 had and was very good for.

So I guess the BBC News Channel will be in Studio C 5-6pm and 9.30-10pm. But with BBC World News in Studio B, they could also move to C at 1pm and 6pm if necessary. Really like the look of the studios, a massive improvement!

According to Wikipedia BBC World News will be in Studio E until 8am, so they're making good use of all the studios.

I assume that it would be for the whole 9PM Hour as I assume descending 3 floors and getting set up isn't possible in 3-5 Minutes.

Blimey! It's ITV News 2004 - with an underlit walkway and everything!

I think I read somewhere on this forum that the News Channel will be in C for the whole 5 and 9 hours.

World News Today looked fantastic from Studio C. I think I prefer Studio C to B for World News - the screens look much sharper.
