Babita Sharma and Rico Hizon have swapped locations, Babita is in Singapore and Rico’s in London. They’ll be presenting for eachothers operations for the next few weeks to come.

Why have they swapped locations?

Why have they swapped locations?

Babita was away I think on leave in Australia.

IMO, it looks like a decision made between Babita & Rico themselves rather than it being the editors idea

I'd posted about it in the Presenter and Rotas thread, as I couldn't remember whether World News presenters stuff went in here or not.

Watching the 11.30am BBC World News on iPlayer and it seems all the aston text was in grey as opposed to the usual red... or have I missed something?

Aston text has always been grey, hasn't it?

The headlines are written in red on the News Channel and World News. Sometimes for ‘Coming up’ stories on World News they are written in grey.
Names and stories astons are normally written in grey. ‘News in Brief’ stories in red.

What on earth caused the logo to do this though?!

My guess would be the 'World News Today' bug.

I've also seen headlines written in grey, also on the 11.30am BBC Two simulcast...

As far as I remember, this morning a couple of the headlines were in red, then the rest in grey, and then the majority of the astons throughout the bulletin were in grey too...

Interesting, a fresh mini change for Newsday I guess.
We could see pair ups that would rarely happen in the past, like Sheranjit-Rico and Kasia-Babita.
We'll probably also see Babita presenting Asia Business Report for the next few hours after Newsday, before World Business Report takes over.

There is a post in the Presenters thread because Sally Bundock mentioned something about the swap this morning!
