Business Presenter Alice Baxter is also shouting when she presents on BBC World News.

She is utterly dreadful.
Goodness me, I would have to agree. I don't see much of BBC World these days (the pitfalls of full time work and no VCR any more!) so I didn't realise quite what Alice's style was like. The way she placed too much emphasis on words like "suffer" and "devastation" made me cringe. It's sad to see BBC World being reduced to this sort of tabloid CNN-style presentation - can you imagine the great Anita McNaught or Keshini Navaratnam presenting like this and waving bits of paper around?
Alice Baxter is terrible, the 'wavy hand moving' and shouting doesn't suit her.
Why is Aaron Heslehurst constantly shouting when he presents World Business Report? He's really REALLY loud and animated for a business presenter.

Maybe Aaron has been giving her tips I don't remember as shouty or wavy in her presentation, I presume studio b is out of use for the Christmas period?

She's a hit with Global viewers of BBC World News. Viewer feedback has been very positive.

She's very easy to understand. She's clear, concise and authoritative. No wonder why she's a hit!

Yes, both Aaron and Alice are very popular with the audience. But for different reasons.
Aaron for his lively and interesting presentation of business. Connects well with his audience.
Alice for being very British! Although she worked in Eastern Europe and grew up in South Africa, she is perceived as being an English Rose! In a similar manner that Dobbie, Eades and Embley are perceived as British stiff upper lip command!
In many parts of the world, such 'Britishness' is very highly regarded and, although they possibly don't admit it publicly, it's a selling point for BBC World in equal measure alongside their nationality diversity.
The above comments from a very good source, by the way.
