Second I'm afraid!
Impact titles much nicer, and it's also nice that the countdown's numbers actually reach zero at the end of the countdown rather than 6 seconds earlier.

Yes titles have been tweaked, need a normal TV to see the difference as that stream is so poor. A few new edit points for a start! Music has a new punchier hold at the end too.
There definitely seems to be more use of red and a couple of the shots are much slower than previously. As said gregmc said, the hold has a the dotted rhythm bassline. Thanks for getting us that countdown too gregmc!
Also can I be the first to welcome the return of countdowns that END ON ZERO.
Second I'm afraid!
Different shots of broadcasting house and newsroom at the end of this TOTH countdown, looks like they'll be mixing things up a bit more than they used to.
I do like the new Impact titles. Nice to see social media integrated into the graphics, as well.

Have the titles and music definitely been tweaked then? I couldn't tell but was watching on an uber pixilated stream.
And what Pete said.

Well tweaked World News Today titles. For the general bulletin titles, we'll have to wait until BBC Two tomorrow at 11:30.
BBC Four's World News bulletin will be the first chance to capture a full SD quality version of the tweaked titles.

Totally agree but fair play to the directors who have been in that dull small studio for so long - they're clearly excited.
I understand they've just moved in to their new digs but a big wooshy jib shot for every single story is a bit much. I'm starting to feel dizzy.

Fantastic
Thanks for that Greg.
I definitely the orchestra really makes a difference, especially on the longer countdowns, even if our lord and saviour phil94 has decreed that it is all the same.
I eat my words. Having heard it in full and not half baked on a stream - massive thumbs up! Thanks greg!
Here's one of the new countdowns in full. You can hear the orchestra in it much clearly. Enjoy.
