Here's one of the new countdowns in full. You can hear the orchestra in it much clearly. Enjoy.

Still in B for a regular bulletin, so I assume C isn't online.

Strangely, the regular titles didn't have a logo on them.

Must have been a fault with how it's overlaid, as the BBC World News box logo is generated live, so it can split and show a 'BBC News' box and a 'BBC World News' box depending what channel it's being broadcast on. Very clever stuff. All titles have been rendered clean with no 'box' as a result.

I thought they would cross to C for regular bulletins. Also hoped for a nice shot of the newsroom after titles but that didn't happen either. A bit underwhelming , have to say...

Indeed, and they just looked like a shoddy mock of the 2008 titles. That said, us all watching a crappy stream online can't show whether there is the same level of detail on these new titles. Music was ever so slightly different - heavier bassline which continued after the form up.

Fantastic Very Happy

Thanks for that Greg.

I definitely the orchestra really makes a difference, especially on the longer countdowns, even if our lord and saviour phil94 has decreed that it is all the same.

Also can I be the first to welcome the return of countdowns that END ON ZERO.

Have the titles and music definitely been tweaked then? I couldn't tell but was watching on an uber pixilated stream.

And what Pete said.

They kept the DOG & ticker up during the titles so it looked fine without the box.

Yes titles have been tweaked, need a normal TV to see the difference as that stream is so poor. A few new edit points for a start! Music has a new punchier hold at the end too.
