Michelle Fleury presenting from London Studio C at the moment.
This is a job swap I think with Victoria Fritz, who is reporting from New York in the past few days. Which makes Dani Sinha present the NC business updates.
Also Ben Thompson had a job swap a few weeks ago, with him heading to New York & Washington, and Samira Hussain reporting from London
I simply cannot get past the fact Reeta Chakrabarti has got to the one, six and ten without a bat of an eyelid. There has been no media on her assent at all. In my opinion, she simple isn't deserving of main bulletins, and considering there are presenters way more experienced and familiar suited to the network bulletins. It really feels like this is the BBC trying to prove they are racially on the ball....
I love her as a correspondent, but main face - not at all.

Yes, almost. Michelle was filling-in last night for Tanya Beckett on World. Samira Hussain is back in New York. Ben is on hol.
I think it's a good idea to rotate people through various hubs from time to time. It's something I also do in my business and it allows people to have a perspective of operations usually handled by their counterparts.

That's a pathetic comment to make.
As much as you might not like it, bilky, it's probably true.
It's not a bad thing in itself - why should it be thought of as bad? Many organisations, companies and charities have drives to increase the number of women, ethnic minorities, gay people and disabled people as employees and to better tailor their services to individual needs.
What better way to do that for a broadcasting service that transmits to the entire planet than to show presenters from various different backgrounds, races and nationalities?
Moving back on topic, Charles Haviland has moved back to London as South Asia Editor for the BBC World Service from his post in Colombo.
There definitely are some changes in terms of correspondent postings, with Colombo, Havana and Athens each now appearing not to have a resident correspondent any more.
