Another one putting in the hours is Ben Bland he was on the Briefing, then he presented the business on GMT, Impact, Talking Business in the afternoons, and now he’s back again in the evening presenting Newsday!

No doubt Simon and Ben spent time having banter in between slots to lighten the day, they seem to get on really well.

One can perhaps assume he's off to cover Dan and Charlie's summer vacation as main presenter.

Based on what they actually said. I watched it. Sandy Bundock - "After four and years of Biz Live, Ben is off to BBC Breakfast for a while and explained what it was for international viewers. The Ben said he might pop back from time to time but for now it was good-bye.

Someone I worked with moved to work in a different location for a few months. It was a big deal to the rest of the staff - customers couldn’t really care less. I think this situation is fairly similar.

Have you a crush? Razz He is nothing more than average imho. I definitely don't see him as main presenter material. Jon Kay and Christian Fraiser are much better fill ins.
