I read somewhere on Twitter she quit over the pay row as that's what her last tweet is about. But I strongly put that down to being a rumour and obviously don't wish to pry into the reasons why Joanna is currently not on air.
Something that I've been meaning to post for a while - and of course, not wanting to divert it into a discussion of a presenters personal life/circumstances, but, where on earth is Joanna Gosling? She's not presented for nearly 6 months now, and is also quiet on Twitter.

But considering he spends at least as much time away from the evening shift (on assignment and BBC1) as on it and is often covered by freelancers it would probably be more cost effective for him to be replaced...
