I think Victoria looks amazing in fact with her new hair in the shorter style she looks younger, so brave to show her fears. I know several people who've gone through the same and say that following her story has been an immense comfort to them

Probably in recognition of the expected significant impact of Brexit on Ireland, a second Ireland correspondent was appointed a few months back.

Chris Page has joined Chris Buckler in this role.

Tom Bateman has become Middle East correspondent in Jerusalem (replacing Kevin Connolly who moved to Brussels some while back).

Katy Watson is now South America correspondent based in Sao Paolo (replacing Wyre Davies who was based in Rio de Janeiro).

Ian Pannell is joining ABC as a senior foreign correspondant

Oh that's a big loss to the BBC

James Longman is also heading to one of the big US outlets as well, as foreign news correspondent. Not sure which one, but he's leaving the BBC.

It's unfortunate the BBC doesn't think there's a need for a correspondent in the Philippines. Duterte, the South China Sea dispute and Islamist extremism. It also has a significant English-speaking population. Out of the big three international broadcasters the BBC is noticeably absent there.

Agreed. They used to have a Manila correspondent, but it was dropped in a re-assessment of foreign correspondent locations some years back.
