BBC News | Presenter & Correspondent Reshuffles

Moved to New York and gone freelance according to Linkedin.

Lina Sinjab has moved from her post as BBC World Service Middle East Editor to become Middle East Correspondent based in Beirut.

Yep, absolutely correct, she's now based in New York, according to her twitter profile.

Another person to note that seems to have left the BBC. Jon Brain had been with the BBC for 15 years, joining in 2000. He's now over at TRT World, never heard of it.

TRT World is a soon-to-be-launched international channel from Turkey's state broadcaster TRT.

Maleen Saeed was also rumoured to be moving to TRT at one point.

Asha Tanna (ex Arise/5 News) has also joined TRT World.

Daniela Ritorto is to leave BBC World News. She is one of the best presenters on the channel, IMO, and I am really sorry to see her go.

Good luck, Daniela.

A massive shame. I prefer watching her to Babita and Kasia on Newsday.
