Another frustrating tweak to the format has been on Mon-Thurs that Sally Bundock does all of the catwalk segments, where as on Biz Live, it'd alternate day to day between the presenters.

Possibly because she's a business presenter, co-presenter is a news presenter. Plus Bundock has been doing the show in a similar format for four years. Hopefully they alternate once Eades and Giannone get used to the show

Are David and Karin presenters of the mid morning shift (08.00-11.00 cet) on World on those days they do Worklife?

It makes me feel rather cynical. Why use a news presenter as a co-presenter unless there are budget cuts to the Business unit? Would explain why Maryam Moshiri hasn't been replaced and herself moved to News in a part-time role.

Plus Ben Thompson wasn't replaced when he went to Breakfast full-time.

Alice Baxter returned around the time Maryam Moshiri left so kind of replaced her. Darshini David started doing afternoon business news which Moshiri did around that time as well.

The launch of Worklife has seen one NC biz shift axed. This now leaves one biz pres shift which starts with the business bulletin at 11.45 during Newsroom Live and an additional bulletin at 12.45 which replaces the 1.45 during the News at One, then they continue during Afternoon Live.

Maybe it’s another attempt to phase it out? When they moved to NBH they scrapped business bulletins but brought them back after a few months.

As we switch to GMT, BBC World News is getting rid of its namesake and introducing a new show:

Live with Lucy Hockings starts 28th October 2019, from 0900 GMT, hourly to and including the 1200 GMT hour.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl9j/2019/10/28

Edit: from 28th, the news-lite hour is at 0800 (was 0900). Wonder why it can't be a full bulletin, given there's now an extra World News staff member following the changes to Work life?

Some of the schedule changes could be down to North America not changing their clocks until early November.

There's always a couple of weeks where the schedule changes due to the clock changes. Wouldn't at all be surprised if the NC gets World News America at 9.30pm again like it usually does.
