BBC's coverage was dire last night. I don't think it was meant to be a special program. There was certainly no press release written for it.

And as mentioned above, nothing on screen to shout about.

They acknowledged at one point they were having technical problems with the sound and the link between London and Washington. Sounds like a lot of scrabbling around behind the scenes to keep them on-air.

I sincerely hope it isn't the new studio, it certainly doesn't match anything else, not even the logo

They must of moved inside later in the night. Right at 7:59pm ET this was posted:

It's that time when BBC World News schedules change to suit the North American market:

The news-light hour moves from 0900 to 1000 GMT from Monday, resulting in a 90 minute break between editions of Live with (or without) Lucy Hockings.

World News America moves to 2100 GMT. Outside Source split 2000 & 2200 GMT.

Outside Source is still scheduled for 21:00 GMT Monday on the news channel

Pretty sure in the past during the time differences, hasn't the News Channel done its own thing from Studio A?
