BBC World News
Apparently Thursday morning The Briefing had technical issues according to Ben Bland. They had to rerun the previous hour, however I just replayed the second hour of the briefing and there was no recorded bug on screen.
Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.

BBC World News
BBC World News was kind enough to give the American presenters off, it was just Christian on Beyond 100 Days and Nuula McGovern anchored World News America.

BBC World News
World News does still seem to have a worsening problem with ranking news events in a rather anglophonic way. For around 15 minutes at the 1100 GMT TOTH, World News was carrying the vigil service for the two victims of the London Bridge attack with the Bishop of London and Sadiq Khan speaking live.

Seems like something that would probably work on the News Channel, but it's something with absolutely no international significance especially since the PM had already finished speaking by then. I can't imagine anyone looking for world news tuning in at the top of the hour being particularly impressed with seeing that.
New Zealand isn't that far away!

I preferred it when world news were at arms length from the Uk operation, anything Uk related was shunted well down the pecking order.
