Depends which edition of Newsday. The 2300bst edition is BBC World News only.

Although, going by the Bangkok time strap on the cap.. that would suggest it was the 00:00 BST programme... unless it was taken from before our clocks changed, in which case it would have been the 23:00 programme!

From what I recall that was from the 0000 GMT edition of Newsday.

Studio B seems to be out of action, all of the programmes are out of Studio C, expect the studio to be treated with the various colourful lighting schemes each show comes with,

Is the catwalk out of use today?

Isn't that just typical Bank Holiday reduced staffing (as B requires the use of camera operators while C has robotic cameras)?

The catwalk was in use for Business Live. Otherwise early this morning, all of Victoria Fritz's links during The Briefing/Business Briefing were from the desk, which meant we got full screen graphics for the markets that are open today.

They used it for Global, Talking Business used it but it went wrong with the wrong vamp and the camera frozen but a nice beauty shot used at the end from a slightly different angle from the norm, credit due though BBC World News take the studio lighting to the limits with its various colour schemes, it’s a joy to watch.

Victoria Fritz has recently tweeted a photo with her leg in a brace so it may be that her segments were presented from the desk for practical rather than technical reasons.

Yikes, not being able to walk well is one thing but with a young child is a whole other ballpark. I hope she gets better soon.
