Any reason why they don't just use the News channel opening sequence with the newsroom shot?

It’s always branded as BBC World News but announced as BBC News at this time so it dosent confuse the uk viewer.

Apart from anything else, the newsroom won't have many people in it.

The Weekend Maintenance Work has ended as they are back in C in time for tonight's World News Today.

Surprised they didn't take the opportunity to fix the out of sync BBC News box on the WNT title sequence.

Like how they've borrowed the Comedy Central logo on the Impact text.

Seriously, first impressions look good. I'm sure with Media Boy overseeing it all, it'll look ace.

Not sure about that logo at all - set looks rather sparse too, though the backdrop is nice.
