They did. About half way through the guest was talking.

Now did Domestic extend their time or did world opt back as planned?

Who’s controlling the sound on Business Live today, the headline vamp was way too low, by the time it went into the titles, the audio was already too low and only just faded into normal towards the end, then it went way too low again.

And it happens on The Briefing as well, it was done properly first few months, now the intro vamp is too low.

Went back seemlessly into the next link from what I watched. (World)

It looks like this weekend's Africa Business Report will be the last.

Probably part of BBC's plan of further budget cuts by reducing foreign news bureaus...

I've been working on a project of making a compilation of the regularly used and pre-recorded continuities/idents shown on BBC World News. It's an updated version of the compilation made by Brand Graffismo a few years ago... and today, I finally finished compiling it. Smile

The old compilation I was talking about:

I have never been able to get used to those coloured straps stuck to the bottom of the logo box.

Oh man this would have been good for when I recreated it for the new version of the Countdowns Compilation. Working off the low-quality compilation was a pain!

It's interesting to see there is a render error at about 10 seconds in all of the versions of the ident - one frame where something goes wrong with the rings mask layer or something.

First time I have noticed screenburn on the catwalk of Studio B...

Are the monitors left on when not on air displaying the default identity? I know some places will leave them on but will run some sort of video to prevent screen burn. I saw one from KABC and it was pretty wild with fast moving objects and the colors wildly changing.

I’m surprised it hasn’t happened to the ones in Studio C especially as it’s hot most of the time. Then the ones in E.
