The Briefing is being anchored entirely from outside Windsor Castle it seems, by Dame* Sally Bundock. (*If we say it enough times it'll become true, right?)

Immediately post-countdown at 05:00 BST was a short sting animation (the first little bit of the main titles?), in place of the usual initial studio wideshot. Accompanied by the same "deep whoosh" audio/music that the usual studio wideshot would have.

Technical problem with the OB when they came back from the break at 05:16 BST.

The out-of-break sting was followed by a black screen. But the usual ticker and programme name graphics still duly appeared at the bottom, over the blackness. As did the "Live: Windsor" bug in the top left.

After a couple of seconds of blackness and silence, we cut to David Eades in the usual NBH studio (we had not seen David and/or the studio proir to this moment). Thus proving that he was there as back-up in case of exactly this kind of error. He read out one or two News In Brief headlines, accompanied by footage and lower thirds as usual.

We went straight from the end of News In Brief back to Sally in Windsor, who referred to the technical problems.

EDIT: It now appears that the entire Business Briefing section was always going to be anchored by David in the studio.

Looks like it happened at some point yesterday. It's a bit too big I think, and as a result that wide shot now shows black space above the set - I think it could probably be framed a little better.

Also, any guest at the desk now sits partially in front of the screen - on Business Live this meant some of the markets stats on screen behind the guest could not be seen properly.

Yeah; those screens are quite big. Are those screens that are like the ones located behind the desk in E or are they a little smaller?

Are there plans to install these large screens in other news studios in BH like Studio A and Studio D?

A lot of the World programmes in C now have to make small adjustments when they have guests coming in to give analysis or chat on news stories of the day or maybe when there are newsreaders presenting bulletins at the news desk. A slight change in the camera angle facing the desk with the presenter and the guest in shot is what's really necessary for C's new screens to work good.

It is going make the camera angles a little different shot wise when the presenter is facing the other screen when sitting down at the desk in C. You're going to see a lot of new these new larger screen to the right camera angle shots and intros from various standard BBC World News bulletins and of course other programmes like World News Today, Hardtalk, Newsday, World Business Report, World News America & The Briefing etc.

For the NC too; we are going to be seeing these screens a lot during weekdays for the BBC News at 5 & The Film Review on Fridays.

If on occasion happens that other major Breaking News Special coverage will take place in C if they are World productions when two newsreaders are needed. A lot of correspondents, reporters & guests will be in use either beside or will be frequently on the new screens themselves talking to the presenters when they are required.

Just a quick recording of the special "Royal Wedding" intro on BBC World News shown at 0700BST in case anyone missed it.

That video really highlights how weekend Breakfast tends to always miss the TOTH from 7am onwards.

Some issues with Business Live today. First the Furios seemed to reset to their default “parked” position. Showing Sally sitting at the desk while the other presenter was at the catwalk for a minute. Then they were able to cut to the Furio on the presenters most left showing the entire studio and by time the catwalk segment was almost over they switched to the shorter tracked camera that’s used to show all three screens and looked like it was manually zoomed in.

Then when World opts out we lost the ticker and got the sting/bumper graphic and about 30-45 seconds of the domestic filler before it crashed into a commercial.
