Nothing wrong with B. It was just being used for something else after Derbyshire. Talking Business was the first show from B at 1430.

Babita Sharma had a slight slip up on Newsday this morning! Temporarily in Singapore and at the break said “I am Babita Sharma in London”!

Reminds me of the heyday of World Business Report when it was dual anchored from London and NYC. I seem to remember a few location slip-ups when presenters covered for a period in the states. Back then it was presenters such Manisha Tank, Mishal Husain, Jamie Robertson and “Patrick” O’Connell.
JamesWorldNews and i-lied gave kudos

I wonder if it's a Ron Burgundy style just reading an incorrect script or if it's doing these set pieces on auto pilot?

If you’ve said the same thing four or five nights a week for the last however many years Babita has been presenting Newsday, and then all of a sudden you have to say something else, you’re bound to slip up occasionally. I still write 19__ on cheques every so often

I'm slightly impressed that you still write cheques!

She had no issues the previous Friday. As she said it was an early Monday morning. Both presenters recovered well and laughed about it afterwards.

Just seen a trailer on BBC World News for "Vice News This Week" this weekend, which prompted me to look at BBC World News press releases, and it's a new, regular weekly programme that will also be shown on Vice's own channels.

That awkward moment when a guest on Skype has better picture quality than the OB with the presenter

So it's gathering stories from Vice News tonight and repackaging as a weekly highlights kinda thing?

Yes, it appears it will be a 'best of' Vice News Tonight, a bit like the weekend edition of Newsnight on BBC World News is a 'best of' the BBC Two programme.

I noticed from the press release it mentioned Vice News This Week reaching 340 million homes via BBC World News, but at the bottom, it mentions BBC World News reaching 454 million homes in total worldwide - so I did a bit of checking and North America is excluded from this deal, so viewers there will see other programmes instead.

Anyone realized that the theme/BGM for "This Week in History" during main bulletin mid-breaks on WN has changed this week? I kinda missed the old theme...
