LOL. Two-way with Berlin:

Pooneh Ghodoosi (London ): So, Stephen, tell us: how did the experts defuse the World War II bomb?

Stephen Evans (Berlin): Well, er......., carefully and bravely, I suppose.......

Musical chairs on BBC World News this morning. Tanya Beckett changed position and seat three times in between reports on WBR, and Martine Dennis has just walked in front of a live camera shot in the ongoing panic! Breaking News out of Europe.

How many cameras can you fit into a tiny studio?

Doesn't seem excessive, 4 cameras - especially as there are no operators to push them around. If you're doing a 1+2 as they're doing there, 4 cameras will give you a good selection of shots. I think N8 has something like 6 cameras doesn't it?

As Ben points out, there's acres of room at the other end of the studio floor.

What's a 1 + 2 exactly?

Given that there's a seven on one of those cameras, I'd guess there were more than 6.

One presenter, two guests. Pretty common to see 1+1, 2+2 etc in running orders.

Horrid wrap-up at the end of BBC World News just now. Martine Dennis and Sara Coburn. They re-played the previous edition of the newspaper review. Upon ending, double head shot at the desk as usual. Sara said "and that was Mark Somebody from XXXXX with the paper review".

She then looked to Martine, who just smiled and gathered her papers, and neither of them said anything to wrap the programme.

And there was plenty of time. Not a rushed close.

It's horribly messy and uneccessary.

Some weird errors at the top of the hour just then on World. Shots of Mishal getting ready, putting an earpiece in her ear, with a very zoomed-in, blurred shot, then Tim Willcox read out the headlines on North Korea. Then Zeinab Badawi starts GMT. What happened?!

Also seems like World News has a new ident. Different music, more like the music used on the Lambie Nairn YouTube video. Also visuals are different, instead using the last few seconds of the World News titles. How long has this been used for, BBC WORLD? Used just before Sport Today at 17:40ish GMT, but normal ident used before Click at 17:55ish GMT
