What on earth are you talking about?

They can't simulcast @ that time because of the PBS schedule newscast and HardTalk @ the bottom of the hour. Hardtalk is the only non straight news program to remain in the weekday schedule so it just won't happen.

The PBS newscast is at 11pm UK / 6pm ET, though for the West Coast, they substitute the 2am UK / 9pm ET bulletin which gets seen on BBC2. The PBS situation doesn't affect the 9pm UK hour.

The 9pm UK/ 4 pm ET is what I get on my local PBS and so many other stations get that. My PBS use that feed at 5:30pm ET so they can't possibly be using the 6/11 feed.

Still shouldn't be a problem though as the bulletin should be suitable for any market, and can be structured in such a way it's possible to opt-out of on the half hour.

If a 9pmGMT bulletin is needed in a half hour format at 10.30GMT then their shouldn't be a problem, since World News America goes out in a shortened format on the News Channel while the main programme is still in it's final half hour on World News. If they can turn that around quickly, then surely they could so the same for other bulletins?

Oh, which local station is that? Most PBS stations I seen are usually running kids programmes at 4pm.

It could be me but the Business Edition seems to have landed itself with the best music package.

Direct from the BBC's Business Region (look at the titles, how cheap) and that music is World News America music.

Or even World News Today...

Business Edition has the best MUSIC, I said nothing about graphics. None of the new music packages are a patch on the old World News Today music.

My thoughts exactly

I'm a bit confused. Both Business Edition and World News Today have kept the music they've had since the 2008 rebrand (a shortened version of the original World News Today music). The only difference being that the two programmes use different beds from the package.

As for the look of the titles, the only changes to Business Edition are the spalshes of blue and the endboard (which reminds me of BBC Persia).
