Hmm, someone forgot to tell Huw that World were in on this, in relation to the screen grabs above, does anyone else think it would be useful if they could rotate the desk so that the presenter is not hanging on the edge of it, seemed a bit weird to have a studio guest sitting in what would normally be presumed the anchor seat.
Tanya Beckett and Martine Dennis just managed to suppress a serious fit of the giggles amidst the biz segment at the moment. Tanya had forgotten what she was supposed to say, so Martine prompted her into reading the market boards.
Upon returning to Martine, she had tears in her eyes and was clearly choking with laughter.
Looks like Tanya is the new regular business presenter on the Friday morning slot.
BBC World is running with the breaking story from Oslo. Ros Atkins is running it, in his WHYS slot, although the news has completely replaced the intended program content.
Wonder why they're continuing with the programme instead of regular BBC World News rolling coverage? The duty presenter in the segment is Pooneh Ghodoosi. Maybe they prefer running with Ros.

No it appears not, Gavin Esler is presenting on the NC.
Tim left the World studio during the last five minutes of the broadcast, and sprinted over to join Annita McVeigh at the News Channel. We are now simulcasting here on World with the News Channel.
A nice wide shot used last night, wish they would always do it.
I still prefer that studio to N6. I think its because it has the real atmosphere of a news studio unlike a couple of barco screens faking a newsroom. Roll on Broadcasting House!

Does look nice, I remember in the days of News 24 being in there - they used to have a Tractor cam on a rail on the ceiling which used to give a nice wide shot, but it was incredibly noisy in the remaining few months of the channel being in there and was probably the reason it was removed.
Nice to see Karthi Gnanasegaram get a bit of work. I think she's doing the Countdown to 2012 weekend shows for BBC World News. She's a very competant sports presenter and a lot better than some of the others!
