Haven't a clue which is the best place to ask this question, so bear with me.

Years ago, N24 used to do a World News bulletin from the World News studio on most Saturday mornings at 930am.

I say 'most' as, depending on what time the BBC One/Two simulcast of the time finished, it wasn't shown if the simulcast continued until 1000am.

Why wasn't the 930am World News bulletin shown on the simulcast?

There also used to be a 9:30 World News bulletin weekdays too. Not sure when that stopped - around 2004 I think.

chris , that 2009 election desk looks the same size as the old BBC W desk, at least from what we could see of it on that shot.

OK, now I totally see that the old desk was white while the 2009 election one is more gray and doesn't have lights so you are right about the 2009 change. Embarassed

There was also a Sunday bulletin at 9.30am. This survived the longest, at least until 2006, if not 2007

Some weeks it was Tim Wilcox handing over to the World bulletin, and other weeks it was him presenting the World bulletin. No Change there Very Happy

I fully agree. And furthermore, it's always an honour and a pleasure to have The Eye visit us here on the World thread. How are you doing, man? Long time no hear.

Babita Sharma is top tops. Really like her style.

Let's just wait for David Lowe's music as well. I'll be looking forward to see what he has in store for us. Any news of changes on the Asia Business Report, like studio? I tweeted Rico but no answer. I sure hope so. It looks like a shoebox and this new season of programming would be a great new start for the Singapore bureau.

Standard music, the title sequence is nicely animated but a little bare (no classic place names).

We've got a superb new graphics package and no new music to top it off, whats the point of changing it at all.

Crap and Lazy, BBC Newsday. Even recycling the old Business Edition music would have been preferable.

It is nice to see a double headed bulletin, and they do appear to have done something with the singapore studio, just waiting for a wide shot.

Hmmmm... Nothing special really then! All a bit bare and yellow for my liking!

Think they could've done much more with this!!
