Yes, that newspaper review always ends in a very disjointed and rushed manner. Martine particuarly often leaves the wrap to the biz anchor because the close is imminent and she forgets to speak!!
Like Kirsty Lang too - but where is Lucy? She would be good back on the TWT slot.
Just watching the BBC News channel, and noticed that this morning's World News America was coming from N8 at Television Centre, London - with Madeline Morris; presented in a similar style to GMT with a stand-up TOTH.
Any videos or caps?

Some familiar faces seem to have disappearred off my screen and I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this? Firstly, Zeinab's been off for three weeks! This is upsetting for me as without a BBC World News stream, she's the only excellent face I can watch each week. In addition, where's Juliet Dunlop - does she still work for the BBC? She hasn't done her 'every second Friday' shift for ages now. And finally, does Martine Croxall still do her official Mon-Wed overnight shift, she seems to have moved into a weekend relief shift role - I think it's safe to say that James Dagwell's taken over!

Any light shed on this would be appreciated.
Hello.
Juliet still appears on screen, but bare in mind her main role is on the Red Button/ Interactive loop headlines here in the UK (which she shares mainly alongside Kasia Madera) and other duties are as a relief presenter. And Martine is still the overnights presenter (it's Sunday to Tuesday actually, Naga's on Wed-Fri and the legendary Al Yates on Saturdays) but is currently a regular presenter on Sundays, which seems to mess up her other shifts. She was on an overnight bulletin only last week I believe.
And it seems Zeinab was in Amsterday a couple of weeks ago, at this BBC World event, so its likely she's still working on assignment for them or taking time off.
Zeinab was on last week for at least one night, IIRC. She also did the preceding Friday.
Thanks 'House' and 'BBC WORLD' - Last Friday was Jonathan Charles, and the Friday before that was Peter Dobbie. Kirsty's been doing a lot of the Monday's too, so I did wander what happenned to her! David Eades and then 2x Kasia Madera on Reporters too. Maybe she did BBC World News or something?
Coincidentally and in line with your query, Zeinab Badawi has just trailed on BBC World from the Pyramids in Egypt, where she is advertising the next BBC World Debate which is to be aired on Saturday. The topic is "slavery".
So, I guess that partially explains her absence from the newsdesk in the last two weeks.
Edit: And now, complete with headscarf, she is filing a report on "The Hub" from refugee camps in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Indeed - she is out of the office!
