Yes, I saw that too - unusual for any BBC News output to have no headlines. I think that it's because on many digital platforms, BBC Four only begins transmission at exactly 1900 - when at this time the top story has gone past! Also, when sting appears, final image can show "Business Edition with Jamie Robertson" and "GMT with Stephen Sackur"; so why not "World News Today with Kirsty Lang" or "Impact Asia with Lyse Doucet"?
Juliette Foster did Biz Edition last night and appears to be doing it tonight as well. No sign of Jamie Robertson. And I have been asking myself - where is Tanya Beckett? She came back from maternity leave a few weeks ago and did two weeks on BE and then disappeared again. I have just seen her now in Russia doing a trail for Russia Business Report (she is underground at a mine). Has she relocated to Moscow permanently, or just on assignment?
With London now returned to GMT (the timezone not the program) Which programs move with the clock change and which stay where they are?
IIRC, all programmes move one hour later, to be aligned with Greenwich Mean Time. The only exception is Nik Gowing's Hub, which is aimed specifically at Eastern audiences and therefore always maintains it's fixed position.
Therefore, I expect from today that Impact Asia's second edition will be followed by the first edition of The Hub, and the intermediate regular bulletin will no longer be aired.
At the other side, there will now be an extra hour of "World News" after Nik and before Zeinab Badawi.
To avoid any further confusion - BBC World News will change its scheduling at the American date of 9th November!
This will mean:
BBC World News with Jonathan Charles and Sally Bundock (The World Today) will remain as it is.
GMT will remain as it is.
Impact Asia with Mishal Husain will move back one hour, to begin straight after GMT, running 1300GMT-1430GMT. On Fridays, the second edition of Impact Asia is replaced by 'Our World'.
The Hub also moves back one hour to 1600GMT-1730GMT. (Fridays not 1630GMT-1700GMT)
The second edition (2230) of Business Edition has been withdrawn from the schedules and the remaining edition will only run 2200GMT-2225GMT. This is because of the need to bring Asia-focused programming back one hour, so Asia Business Report will replace this slot. Sport Today at 2245GMT stays. On Fridays, Soprt Today is at 2230GMT and Weekend World is at 2240GMT.
World News Today with Zeinab Badawi remains in its current format.
GMT will remain in its BBC Two edition slot (1230-1300UKT Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri).
World News Today with Zeinab Badawi also stays on BBC Four.
Also, World Business Report loses an extra edition on Fridays at 1830GMT. It is now Middle East Business Rpt.
Hope that clears this all up!
Zeinab Badawi explains her ideas on freedom of expression and shows us around the World Newsroom and N8. We go behind the scenes at World News Today with Zeinab Badawi.
Curiously, it appears that World are currently taking Obama's speech live (with ticker and World DOG but no other graphics), while GMT is continuing on BBC Two.

Perhaps Obama's speech was live on News 24 and they simply cut to News 24's feed?

Nope, News Channel had a live bug and astons (and a little black rectangle covering up the source broadcaster's logo)
