Still in N9 today as well. Routine maintenance?

Looks like BBC are ahead in the coverage of the ETA ceasefire, with an exclusive video being sent to them. Clive Myrie is amazingly already there!

I'd say so. BBC News 24 had to decamp to N6 or TC7 every few weekends back in the days when they came from N8 so I'd presume same maintenance requirements for N8 with it's new tenants.

INTERESTING:'This Week' to Air on BBC World Starting Sunday

This probably means no BBC World News as a rolling news channel in the States for further long time. Sigh.

It's available on one carrier, Verizon. Not in 16:9, unfortunately.

Owen Thomas did a sterling job today anchoring 3+ hours of rolling coverage of the 9/11 commemorations. Not to intrusive and well balanced voice over. Good contributions also from Michelle Fleury.

By the way, I have just realised this morning that Karin Giannone is a rather good newscaster indeed. Faultless delivery.

Lyse Doucet is back in Kabul, probably hosting The Hub and Impact Asia from location.

Did anyone see Christiane Amanpour's programme on BBC World last night? Was way past my bedtime. On his Twitter page, Owen Thomas describes her as "another CNN escapee", obviously making reference to his goodself as well.

Edit: here's a nice foto of the on-air team celebrating their 200,000th member on Facebook. Nice angle on this shot. Thanks to Mishal Husain for it.

Owen's certainly a million times better on business edition than Jamie Robertson. He actually makes business news sound interesting... even when it's not. Jamie has a very old fashioned style of delivery and style, Owen's so much fresher.

Hey BBC WORLD, what is this about Lulu. You said recently that you are not one to even notice what the news corrspondents are wearing. Rattray

Normally so. But this number was just too special to miss. Even Stevie Wonder would have noticed it.

Indeed. Never one to notice what a newscaster is wearing*.............................is that a real, proper safari suit Zeinab Badawi is wearing for her live reporting from Niger for World News Today?

(*apart from this memorable occasion, back in 2005................those were the days........)

Can anyone tell me what deal is with BBC World news on livestation? It seems that it only appears on the livestation website and on my PC application at certain times, and I've no idea how it works. Anyone got any ideas?
