It's not normal, ginnyfan. It's only been aired a couple of times on a Friday and it seems to tie-in with Mishal's roster rather than deliberate scheduling. (In other words, if she's rostered on a Friday at World or if she's on "standby" on a Friday at World, they will air "Impact Asia". Otherwise, it's normally WNT with LD at that slot on a Friday).
Lyse is co-anchoring the programme from Pakistan today, coincidentally.

I guess Tim Willcox must be on vacation, since Peter Dobbie appears to have inherited the extremely long shifts and the key to the hair products bunker!
IIRC, Peter has been on air for the last 22 days continuously. Today, he did the mid morning shift (8am to 12pm) on BBC World. Now he is back on air for the 9pm (UK time) shift on the same day!

Looks like Peter Dobbie and Owen Thomas have stepped into Tim's shoes. Peter did the morning then the evening shift today, Owen's been on every hour for days. No impact Asia, just a short bulletin this afternoon, again from Owen. Amazing they've let nearly every regular anchor go on holiday all at the same time.

Since last Tuesday, on until Friday I believe. Matt and Katty are presumably both on holiday. It also coincided, quite nicely, with Cameron's visit to Obamaland, allowing Jon to present from Washington last week on the NC.

Just saw that they've done a nicer, less dodgy edit of that new countdown - now the crossfade at the end works much better. Still don't have the wooshes in time though...
