It can't be simulcasted on Wednesdays though due to prime ministers questions. And the first half hour cant be simulcasted the rest of the week without moving The Daily Politics (which would be easy enough done).
So remains to be seen what the scheduling will be. I suppose it could even be a half hour condensed version like World News America on the News Channel
With Working Lunch being axed, GMT will take the 12:30 slot on BBC Two. It probably wont air at all on Wednesdays, unless its a time shifted edition.
There may have to be a slight reformatting of the edition, to make it follow the format that World News Today employs when simulcasting on BBC Four. Also, David Eades most likely wont feature.
Peter Dobbie is on - again!! That's almost three weeks continuously he has been on, anchoring on a daily basis. Just as well he's good, otherwise we'd all be complaining.
Today he's filling-in for Mishal Husain on Impact Asia. Lyse Doucet is in Kabul, again.
Tanya Beckett's continued absence is causing some (quite nice) changes this week at World.
Michelle Fluery (initial fill-in for Tanya) has returned to New York studios.
Juliette Foster is now filling-in for Michelle filling in for Tanya on Business Edition.
Sharanjit Leyl (of BBC Singapore) is now in London filling-in for Juliette's dayshifts on WBR.
Juliana Liu is now filling-in for Sharanjit in Singapore..............
Nice to see Sharanjit in London for a change. I am sure we will see her on Business Edition at some stage in the coming weeks.

On the News Channel at the start of the coference Jon Sopel said the Prime Minister, before quickly correcting himself to say British Prime Minister as if he had forgotten he was broadcasting to an international audience. Yet World News Today went out as normal on BBC4. CNNI and AJE took the press conference so I would be shocked if BBC World News didnt
