During the Andrew Marr show's first news update, they displayed a full screen graphic during a report, and apart from some tweaks to the rings/globe/orb in the top corner, the text was in Gill Sans. Was this a quickly made graphic without full templates, or will Gill Sans still exist in some part with the new graphics?

It is possible that graphic playout will still take place at NBH, but the TVC studio will be brought in as an OB? Well something similar anywho
I'm assuming that BBC World News will use the new graphic package at both NBH and TVC as it would look a little odd if they keep changing.

Its probably the same software at both places. Shames theres no HD feed of it but I am sure we will be impressed (or not) with this relaunch.

There is BBC One HD for overnights eventually, and there will be BBC Two HD for the afternoon World News bulletin (providing they still offer it with their new schedule) Also I hold out hope for a BBC News Channel in HD at the very least on Sky and FreeSat

Now this will be interesting to hear and see. Wondering how it gets mixed in the David Lowe style, or if it will!
I've heard it as well and it's rather nice - I won't spoil it by telling you the details. Also think there is a behind the scenes video to come.

@biz_ben: Just listening to full orchestral recording of the new BBC News countdown. My word, it's good. Check it out on @BBCWorld News from Monday.
