So have the BBC been using camera men lately as robotic cameras are nothing new?
http://youtu.be/vQ26-v8Nzo0?t=4m3s
Will the automated/robotic cameras be able to replicate job shots? Or is there the a dedicated 'after title establishing shot' camera?

These one's are different. Those robotic ones are controlled by an operator from the gallery. These new ones are pre-programmed.

Interesting to read this - have we heard anything else about World News America moving timeslots? I thought it aired at 2200 GMT now.
World News America is not moving. The Press release is wrong

I seconded, our EPG still indicated that World News America is still listed at 06:00am Manila Time.

Matt Taylor wrote this on Twitter. Looks like we could be seeing a weather forecast from Studio B.
Matt confirms it's only for major weather stories. Will be good to look out for nonetheless.
@stuart_earl Ooooo that'll be fun. Played in Studio B for a Globel with Sopel pilot on Monday :)

Here's a video tour of Broadcasting House with Mishal Husein
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-radio-and-tv-20935361
. It includes our first good (albeit brief) look at the studio that will be used for regular BBC World News Bulletins.
And here's some new/larger images of the other studio:
From a slideshow (with captions) that can be seen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-radio-and-tv-20947831

Wow... okay I think I may have just had a Nerdgasm.
Those Studios are looking utterly superb. I just hope Mishal doesn't get run over by that scary looking Mars rover... oh its not real... and relax.

Looking at the images on the screens, I suspect those are for the promo photo unless they have decided to use Gill Sans after all
I have to say, BBC World always sort of felt like a channel on the cheap. With these new studios it finally feels like the channel will be getting some love.

Totally agree. Whilst the current music and graphics shared with domestic BBC News are good, and the news content and presenting team even better, the studios and production values are bush league in comparison to other international news channels.
As you say, it's great to see this big failing finally being addressed and I'm quite excited by the talk of dynamic and engaging presentation seen in the above video:

You're going to see far more visual, vivid, dynamic storytelling. High Definition screens, automated cameras that are moving constantly, a far more dynamic experience where we can explain the story almost before we've opened our mouths. You're going to see a much more engaging presentation from us.

IMO the only period when BBC World looked cheap was from 2004 till 2008, when they revamped the set into that bland white glassy horror and used the ugly new black orange openings and slowed down music. Everything was a downgrade in that era. Before and after that it looked great, certainly better than News 24. But yes, this upcoming new era will be something totally different, it's a new building after all plus they will have so much space, for the first time ever.
