I do hope so, I also wish that they would refresh GMT, Impact etc. Titles and give Newsday it's own theme tune.

Its been said in this thread that the current package will be tweaked, not replaced. As to the shows (GMT, Impact)
their titles may or may not be altered.

WBR - new titles
Impact - new titles
Newsday - no change
Business Edition - tweak
Focus on Africa - tweak
World News America - new titles

Thanks for that Greg. I'm quite perplexed at why Newsday is not getting new titles and music, out of all the programmes on BBC World News, Newsday is the only programme that was screaming out for a new set of titles and most definitely its own theme tune.

You missed "Global with Jon Sopel" off the list... new Titles and Music to look forward to.

Apart from Newsday, I think that's how they should change them. There is nothing wrong with GMT's package but Impact and WNA are quite desperate for new titles.

It will kind of look like that, imagine it inverted. White background, with pink and red elements flying around.

This forums going to be busy on the 14th then.

I do wish though the BBC would use the relocation as a chance to move away completely from the 1999 package - I'm frankly rather fed up of just having tweaked variations of it and think the time is right to at the very least shake things up visually, if not dropping the David Lowe theme too in favour of something brand new. In a way keeping with the old graphics means the new studios don't look as new as they should.
