BBC World News - to 14th January 2013

Is that location bug an error or are they keying a shot of the NBH newsroom behind a contributor in Wellington, NZ?

The guy's based in London so I'm thinking the first. Well done for over-thinking things with some imagination though!

They've used the "fake newsroom" background for DTL contributions from regions before, it wouldn't be too big a step to have replaced that with the real thing!

The guy who posted it has a different name, job and is in a different place mentioned. It's a trial - probably one of these simultaneous practice runs.

Glad the terrible program box will be gone.

I'm just disappointed they're never going to be able to use these astons what with the end of the world and all...

I'll be honest, I prefer the current graphics (with the exception of the horrendous programme title box above the BBC World News logo). I think the new ones are a bit *too* plain.

As already seen, the graphics will be very similar, from what I've seen of rehearsals it's the new studio that'll make all the difference.
