Relax, folks. Relax. Have a glass (carafe) of wine and relax. In fact, come round to mine and we'll have several.
I've written to BBC World, offering to put in a bid for Nik Gowing's "Hub", which shall be surplus to requirements soon. Thereafter, I'll use it upon which to rest my carafes.
Good idea?

I saw the change in the thread's subtitle and though... YAY A DATE FINALLY ...imagine my disappointment.
...but the wine makes up for it... who am I kidding... YOU"RE NOT HAVING NIK'S 'HUB' BECAUSE ITS MINE!

I'll take the Barco screens, they can be a focal and talking point in my living room.

Relax guys - nothing is happening until NEXT year!
With all the Entwistle saga going on, will this delay BBC World News' move to NBH?
They really wouldn't want to be seen to be moving into a glitsy new studio and building while everything seems to be going on around them?

Do you know when this decision was made? Was it before or after the recent cock-up?

I guess they werent as far along in their preparation as it seemed they were. Does this perhaps mean that domestic have been delayed as well?

I would assume so.

No.
Its been decided to really nail the new technology down before it goes live.
A lot has been learnt by moving the weekend programmes and Newsnight, so that learning is being put to good use.
There was some slack in the movement timetable - so there shouldn't be much of a delay.

Why, have there been issues? Certainly nothing I've noticed on screen.
Thanks for the info Media Boy, but I must admit I'm gutted.
Bit confused why Ross Fitzpatrick - according to his Twitter profile a Lead Director on BBC News - said 10 days ago...
@kaled10: On a far more exciting note - only 3 days at work - followed by 6 days off, When I'm back it's only weeks until the big launches begin .

Not related to BBC World News, but as you're here - what's happening with regards to TC7. Is this now not going back to BBC resources until the New Year, when World has moved out or is it going to be closing before Christmas?
