At the end of a piece from Tirana, Albania this morning on Jonathan Charles' Newshour, the reporter signed off as "Joe Bloggs, BBC World News, Tirana".
It's normally generic sign-offs stating BBC News, as opposed to BBC World News. Just a small error, or sign of some slight changes?

I'm guessing just a slight error on his part. However I remember when BBC News 24 first launched, all reports where signed off as BBC News 24 too.
Interesting presenter mix tonight, especially for a weekend bulletin. One particular edition had three anchors! (Nik Gowing, anchoring from Warsaw, Zeinab Badawi from Khartoum, and Owen Thomas in London).
Did I just heard that the Prime Ministerial Debate will be airing on BBC World News tonight at 19:00 GMT?
I think I heard Jonathan Charles said that earlier...

2030GMT-2200GMT according to the BBC World News schedule for today.

I think you mean 1930-2100 GMT - don't forget we're on British Summer Time now.
Yes, it was aired on World last night (8:30pm UK time / 11:30pm UAE time), and it was amazing that the programme's presentation was crystal clear and far better than the normal "picture quality" we get here on BBC World. It was good to see Alastair Stewart again. Haven't seen him in years. Overall, quite an interesting watch.
I had to chuckle at the end, though, when Al asked us to stay tuned for more analysis of the debate on "News at Ten", which was "coming up next". Instead, we crashed straight into Tanya Beckett, poised at her newsdesk, and she rolled-on with Business Edition, no countdown and no anno beforehand.
I assume that World will also be screening the two upcoming debates. Can't wait!

The picture was so good, James, because it was recorded in HD. Obviously it wasn't true HD on BBC World but the HD-SD downscaling produces a better picture than normal SD footage on BBC World.
