Focus on Africa has a different presenter tonight. Komla Dumor did the morning 5am slot from Olympic Park. So tonights Focus on Africa is deputised by Sophie Ikenye.

She's good.

Yes, she's is the one who was jointly billed as presenter of the programme with Komla. I guess if he is doing more other things on World she will present a lot more.

Major sound issues on the 00:15 sports report. They gave up and passed back to their main studio. I'm sure just first day glitches.

Kasia presenting the heads from N8 at 0130, is she presenting the overnight shift from there before it all starts up again at 0500?

World News Today with Zainab Badawi, being branded still as World News London Live

Did BBC4 take this as well as normal? I thought it was meant to be an Olympic free channel?

Great video, thanks.

The road to the studio itself is interesting. Surprised

BBC WORLD 24
Since the move of BBC WORLD NEWS to their Olympic studio the quality of their actual news coverage has dropped dramatically.

Whilst it's great to see what is happing in London, let us not forget that this is a 'world news' channel and it's sad to see that coverage of other major news events and the award winning journalism that the BBC is known for has been lost.

Isn't it because it's the BBC's only World channel and the only way they can broadcast bits to an international audience?
