Mike Embley has started tonight and said "It's good to be back on PBS".
What exactly is PBS? I would have thought that America would have access to BBC World News anyway.
PBS always used to show it on its affiliates, but I think Comcast has done a deal with World News to put it on there TV Service
PBS Stations still carry BBC WORLD NEWS at different times through out the day. World is on Verizon full time, Comcast in Major cities, COX, and several other smaller cable providers.
Comcast should carry world full-time by the end of the year.
Mike has always been liked in America especially with PBS viewers, but I wonder why this still isn't branded as BBC World News when it says otherwise on the EPG.

I'm sure he just said "Still ahead on BBC World News..." so maybe it is going to be branded like that.

Yes, we get BBC World on Comcast now. They started out carrying it 14:9 letterboxed, but after a few weeks, they decided it looked better 4:3 pillar boxed. It's still great to hear there's more BBC coming to PBS now and especially with Mike Embley.
