Correct, Drew. She has been on World for a few weeks now.

How would Ben have captured that image there?

I'm guessing he didn't, but the camera operator probably did.
Watching Dateline London at the moment on World. I really like the programme and generally find the content quite interesting and often entertaining. However, I agree with many of you who have commented on the past from a presentation perspective: 5 people crammed around that desk can often be a bit tight, but have never really understood why the presenter doesn't sit "at the head of the table" in the centre, so to speak.
Gavin Esler is always sited right of centre, as the viewer sees it. There's acres of space for the folks sat to his right, whilst those sitting to his left need to breathe in, or be very slim!
From a pres perspective, why folks? Camera issues? Backdrop issues?
Edit: Furthermore, back to Bens image he's tweeted in the Link two posts above: how come the DOG is a BBC News one, and not BBC World News???? Hmmmmmmmm. Poirot?
Current summary airing has some problems. Wrong straps. Late ticker. And start up from a coming up sting.

Still having various issues on World this evening. In the summary with Peter Dobbie just aired, the straps were still running a full story behind the picture on screen. This is possibly the third bulletin I have seen today with the same issue.
Furthermore, we just had two back to back adverts for Rendezvous with Zeinab Badawi in the current ad break, just before Sport Today. Often happens, but these two ads were for completely different editions! The current weeks one, which will be aired again tomorrow, and then for the next edition for next week.
And........is it just in my region, or is it now the same in all regions: the Pre recorded CA voice for Sport Today always has a huge lengthy gap in the intro. Along the lines of "and now on BBC World News, .......pause 4 secs........Sport Today."
It got me thinking: I wonder if the announcement is actually recorded as "World Sport Today", and they've changed the programmes name just prior to the launch and dropped the "World". Hence the lengthy gap in the announcement. To lend some credibility to my speculation, I have also noticed that several of the Sport Today presenters actually refer to the programme as "World Sport Today" when they're referring to it during the bulletin, such as in the " coming up" lines. In fact, as I am typing this, Frances Donovan has just did exactly that!

I presume that it's because of the systems the BBC use, Kasia Madera posts quite a bit to YouTube and all of her videos just have the BBC news at the bottom.

Think it's been accepted that world viewers shouldn't have to trawl through all the UK BBC News rotas stuff.
Has this thread always been a mega-mega-thread? Why are rotas not separate?
