You've probably been talking about this for ages but there are a few changes coming to the World Schedule in June

Before you start dropping hints like that, you'd best make it clear that they're not coinciding with the move to BH!

Move isn't taking place until October

So the schedule will change as follows -

9pm UKT - Business Edition with Tanya Beckett (it's back!)

10pm UKT - World News America - 60 minute edition

11pm UKT - Newsday, ABR, Sport Today

12am UKT - Newsday, ABR, Sport Today

1am UKT - Newsday, ABR, Sport Today

2am UKT - BBC World News, ABR, Sport Today

3am UKT - BBC World News, ABR, Sport Today

4am UKT - BBC World News

It will be interesting to see what this means for the simulcast/presenter schedules. It would be a shame to lose Newsday from BBC News in the UK as I do enjoy the programme.

You will still get the 1am version.

Overnightsfrom 2-5 will get a regular presenter

It's great to see an hour edition of WNA again. It was madness to change it to 30 mins.

I wonder what will happen with Mike Embley, this pretty much kills his shift.

Seriously though, do they really need Sport Today 5 hours in a row? It pretty much repeats the same thing every hour!

Finally Business Edition is back! Hope they bring back that brilliant music that used to be used on WNT as well as Business Edition.

Newsday makes more sense in those slots as a breakfast rather than mid-morning show for the Far East

Seems odd to have a WBR just half an hour before Business Edition. Won't the two duplicate each other to an extent?

Glad to see regular BBC World News returning to viewers in the UK from 0200 at least. Never liked the Newsday format on the NC.
